[Position Title]
Head – PVRD (APMEA)

【Main Purpose of Job (Why job exists/what it must achieve)】
This position will lead PV development for APMEA region. Scope of this role covers all sizes in passenger segment (PCR and SUV being the two sub categories) and will serve both OEM and replacement markets across APMEA and effectively collaborate with PV R&D Europe for synergy in terms of technology development.

【主たる役割】
PMEA地域向けのPV用タイヤの開発をリードする。全てのサイズの乗用車用タイヤ(PCRおよびSUV)を対象とし、OEMおよび補修用タイヤの両方をカバーする。また技術開発に当たっては、ヨーロッパのPV R&Dと協力する。
 

【Main Responsibilities / Job Summary】

• Develop Product strategy for PVRD in APMEA along with other stakeholders (Senior Management, Institutional sales & Replacement Sales, Marketing, Customer Service etc. and other Technology functions of R&D )
• Building and Delivering Product Roadmap (on-time, in-budget, as per quality and performance norms)
• Technology preparedness for future and leadership: Being ready for future demands emanating from OEM customers, replacement market demands / technology advances like ULRR, EV, Low NVH, low weight etc.
• Operational Efficiency: Project Management and Delivery, Cost Management, Achieving VAVE targets, APDP, QR gate review etc.
• People Development and Bench strength Readiness: Efficient team structure, role and responsibility allocation, developing capabilities of team members, preparing team for future needs in terms of capability and capacity
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with other functions (Technology functions within R&D ,Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, Purchase etc.) to effectively execute PVRD strategy
