【主たる役割】
APMEA地域における商用車用ラディアルタイヤの製品および加工技術の開発推進。また製品および加工技術の開発につき戦略的方向性を策定する。

[Position Title]
Head TBR ( CV Radials ) R&D

【Main Purpose of Job (Why job exists/what it must achieve)】

Drive Product & Process Technologies for CV Radials in APMEA, giving strategic direction to Product and Process development activities and aligning all the efforts of the department to the organizational goal of profitable growth. Build future readiness in technologies and core competencies in people.

【Main Responsibilities / Job Summary】

A) Product Development & OE Approvals:
1. Direct the product development of All steel and fabric steel radials for CV with a long term perspective and prioritise business impact 
2. Drive frugal engineering.
2. Build mutually enriching relationship with senior management team of OE and establish technology partnerships.

B) Process Development & Product Industrialisation :
1. Guide and monitor PI efforts taking a wholesome view balancing product priorities & manufacturing complexity 
2.  Drive efficiencies  

C) Build Future readiness 
1. Promote an innovation culture and guide technology roadmaps for future competitiveness
2. Integrate the product and process roadmaps into manufacturing priorities in consultation with relevant stakeholders. 

D) Risk Mitigation 
 1. Drive a riskbased thinking culture. Isolate risk to business by proactive measures 

E) Drive business focus 
1. VAVE & Complaint management – monitor and guide projects.

F)  People development: 
Guidance where needed , instilling the spirit of data based management and continual learning in team
