Job Description

You will be responsible for the following tasks related to overseas customers who implement our products:

• Operating adjustments of bag-making machines, delivery to customers, and providing operation instructions, as well as machine improvements, prototypes, technical guidance to customers, operational adjustments, and handling complaints.
• Prototype testing and improvement of new product developments.
• Operating and demonstrating the machines at exhibitions, providing customer explanations, and creating presentation materials.

After joining, you will undergo training at the head office to gain an understanding of the bag-making machines. The duration of the training will vary depending on your experience. After the training, you will take on the role of a representative for overseas clients, working on a business trip basis.

※Due to the potential for future overseas assignments, the employment will be as a contract employee.

Annual Income

• Salary System: Monthly Salary
• Annual Income: ¥5,500,000 – ¥10,000,000
• Monthly Salary: ¥250,000 – ¥455,000
• Base Monthly Salary: ¥230,000 – ¥400,000
• Bonus: Twice a year (Average over the last 10 years: 10 months)
• Reference Annual Income:
  • Supervisor level: ¥8,000,000 (30s)
  • Assistant Manager level: ¥12,000,000 (40s)
• Salary Increase: Once a year in April

※The above annual income includes the base salary, overtime pay, various allowances (excluding commuting allowance), and bonuses.

Location:
Headquarters in Kyoto (5-81 Kuse Nakakuse-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture)
10 minutes on foot from JR Mukomachi Station
※No smoking at the workplace (smoking areas are designated).

Working Hours:

• Flexible working hours
• Work hours: 08:30 – 17:30
• Core hours: 10:00 – 15:00
• Break time: 60 minutes
• Overtime: 20 – 30 hours per month
• Company standard working hours: 08:30 – 17:30

Holidays and Leave:

• 123 days off per year
• Complete weekends off (Saturday and Sunday), year-end and New Year holidays, summer holidays, and bereavement leave
• Note: Due to our company’s unique calendar, weekdays may be designated as holidays, and holidays may be workdays.
• Annual Paid Leave: 10 days of paid leave will be granted after the probation period ends.

Required Qualifications:

• Languages:  Japanese or English  + another language (daily conversation level or higher)
• Graduate of a four-year university or technical college
• A passion for working with machinery

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in machine-related work (service engineer, assembly, etc.)
• Proficiency in any of the following languages: Hindi, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese
