Research Unit Administrator (RUA)/リサーチユニットアドミニストレータ―(RUA)

The OIST graduate education and research program is cross-disciplinary and aims to be at the leading edge of research in science and technology, including the Life Sciences, the Physical Sciences, and Mathematics. OIST units, currently 80 unitクイーン カジノ visand growing, conducts interdisciplinary research in eight fields: Physics, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Marine Science, Environmental and Ecological Sciences, Mathematical and Computational Sciences, Engineering and Applied Science, and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. The Research Unit Administrators (RUAs) are involved in such world-class research by performing a full range of administrative duties so they can achieve their objectives.

Provide day-to-day administrative support for faculty and researchers, and including but not limited to:

1. Calendar management, travel arrangements, budget management, procurement of research goodクイーン カジノ visand services, expense settlement, etc.
2. Event management, including administrative dutieクイーン カジノ visand other pre, on-site, and post-event liaison with internal and external parties
3. Operational support for Visiting Scholar Programs
4. Administrative work related to external funding
5. Daily bilingual (Japanese-English) administrative support
6. Hiring arrangements, including corresponding with applicants, publishing job advertisement, etc.
7. Management of annual report, scientific productivity data, and website of research unit
8. Other administrative duties including operational support for Faculty Affairs Office

クイーン カジノ visaユニットに属する教員やクイーン カジノ visa員、学生に対する事務サポート全般を行う。主な業務は以下を含みますが、これらに限定されません。

1. スケジュール管理、出張・招聘手配、予算管理、クイーン カジノ visa機器や備品の調達、精算事務など
2. ワークショップ・セミナー等のイベントの管理、運営、ロジスティック手配
3. 国内外からクイーン カジノ visa者を長期招聘する客員プログラムに係る事務
4. 競争的資金取り扱いに関わる事務 
5. 日英バイリンガルでの日常的なサポート（翻訳・通訳）
6. 求人掲載や面接のアレンジなどを含む採用関連事務
7. 年次報告書の作成補助、論文データ集計、WEBサイトの管理
8. その他、教員担当学監オフィスの業務サポートを含むオフィス事務

(Required)

1. Proven ability and communication skills to respond flexibly to the demands of diverse requesters from around the world
2. Effective organizational and prioritization skills, with demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to details
3. Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese at a business level
4. High degree of personal initiative, be a self-starter
5. Computer skills in software (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

2. Working experience in an international research institution/university
